Summer time/winter time change-over
The time set in the instrument is indicated with the current time
by an additional character.
S = summer time
W = winter time
The instrument automatically changes over from winter to
summer time and vice versa. No user interaction is required.

Menu
To select the menu options use the touchscreen function of
the display with the aid of the stylus supplied.
CAUTION
!
Only use the touchscreen with the stylus. Other tools
(e.g. ball point pen) might irreversibly damage the
touchscreen.
If no external keyboard has been connected for data entry,
a virtual keyboard is automatically shown on the display
which can be used with the stylus.
Using the menu button in the start bar the following menus
can be selected directly:
Information
Settings
Maintenance
Accept configurations and changes in the menus with
Confirm. The return to the menu is automatic.
General operating information
Open menu entries by double-clicking (internal keyboard).
Select menu entries with the arrow keys and open with the
Enter key (external keyboard).
Confirm and save changes to the settings by pressing the
Confirm button. The instrument returns to the menu.
Exit menu entries by pressing the Close button or the cross
X in the top right corner. If changes have been made, the
message Do you want to save the changes? appears.
Press Yes or No and the instrument returns to the menu.
Dräger recommends using the supplied stylus to operate
the menu.

This menu lets you select and
set
the
location,
language, etc.

»Display« submenu
In this submenu, the screen
display can be rotated by 180°.
Select

deselect
Rotate display check box.

»Printer« submenu
This submenu lets you select
whether the protocol is printed
using the internal or an external
printer. The internal printer is
always activated.
Depending on the instrument configuration, the number of
measurement protocols is permanently set to 1 copy (default)
or a selection can be made between 1 and 5 copies.

»Sound« submenu
This submenu lets you select the volume and frequency of the
acoustic signal when providing the breath sample.

»General Functions« submenu
