Service hatches
To provide easy access to components inside the
ACS 651/751 during routine maintenance, service
hatches are provided. There are three service hatches -
one each on the side panels and one on the front panel.

Refer chapter 7 for more information on mainte-
nance.
The service hatch (Fig. 1, Pos. 9) on the front panel
provides access to the oil and UV dye bottle.
To open the service hatch on the front panel, grip and
pull the door out gently.

The service hatches on the right and left panels provide
access to the vacuum pump and the filter drier respec-
tively.

To remove the service hatch on either the right or left
panels, open the two knob screws (Fig. 9, Pos. 1) and
lift the service hatch from its position.
The pockets provided on the service hatches can be
used to place documents. Tools can be placed on the
top panel (Fig. 1, Pos. 3)

Scales for UV dye, oil bottles and refrigerant
There are different scales to control the quantity of re-
frigerant, oil or UV contrast medium that is injected into
the vehicle A/C system.
