9. Disposal
9.1 Electrical and electronic equipment
Waste electrical and electronic equipment can contain hazardous substances.
Do not dispose of this unit in the residual waste. The actuator plate must be
disposed of in an orderly, environmentally-friendly manner according to the
standard regulations that apply in your local area. Take it to a special collection point
for recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This way you help to
preserve natural resources and protect the environment. Contact your distributor or
your responsible authorities for advice.
9.2 Batteries
Used batteries must be disposed of properly. For this purpose, appropriately labelled
containers for disposal of batteries are provided in shops where batteries are sold and
at community collection points.
9.3 Packaging material
Children must not be allowed to play with plastic bags or packaging material as this
poses a risk of injury or asphyxiation. Store these types of materials in a safe place or
dispose of them in an environmentally-friendly manner. If possible, keep the packag-
ing until the warranty period expires.
