1 Insert gas diffuser (4) into torch neck (5).
2 Screw tip adaptor (3) into torch neck (5) and contact tip (2) into tip adaptor (3).
3 Screw gas nozzle (1) onto torch neck (5).
4.2 Mounting the wire guide
NOTICE
• Only use gas-tight, plastic-insulated wire guides to ensure a secure shielding gas cover
and a defined current contact.
• Bare liners give rise to a loss of shielding gas.

Mounting the wire guide
1 Stretch out the cable assembly (8).
2 Remove gas nozzle (10), contact tip (9), tip adaptor (11) and gas diffuser (1) from
torch neck (2).
3 Unscrew nut (5) from central connector (6).
4 Slide liner (7) through the wire conduit (3) up to the retaining nipple (4).
5 Screw in nut (5) by hand.
6 Cut off the excess length of the liner (7) flush with the torch neck (2) and pull out the liner (7).
7 Sharpen the liner beginning to an angle of approx. 40° and debur the cutting point.
8 Slide sharpened liner (7) through the wire conduit (3) up to the retaining nipple (4).
9 Screw in nut (5) and tighten it.
10Screw in gas diffuser (1), tip adaptor (11) and contact tip (9) and attach gas nozzle (10).
