c. Switching the pager on/off
• Press ●●● for 2 seconds to switch the pager on.
• To switch the pager off, press ► until PGR OFF appears on the display.
d. Display Readout
ON: pager is in ON position
Err: wrong message
RP: repeat message
Lock: message is being blocked
Battery: low-battery indication
Clock: indication set-up time
Bell: sound mode, the vibrating function is activated when this symbol does not appear on the display
Antenna: out of range
Arrow: message not complete, press button to read next page
e. Backlight
• Press ◄ to switch on the backlight, press again to switch it off.
f. Messages
• Receiving a message
o The pager vibrates en bleeps when receiving a message. When a message is not read within 8
seconds, UNREAD 1 appears on the display.
o The pager will repeat an unread message every 2 minutes.
o The pager will simultaneously vibrate and bleep for urgent messages, regardless of which ALERT
setting is programmed.
• Reading a message
o Press ●●●. A number of messages appear on the display.
o Press ●●● again. The messages are shown one at the time. Press ●●● to read the next message. A
message can be 4 screens long.
• Deleting a message
o Press ► until LOCK and DELETE appear on the display.
o When DELETE appears on the display, press ●●●. Press ●●● for 1 second to delete all the
messages.
g. Function menu
• Press ► in the STANDBY mode: ALERT SETTING – TIME – DATE – ALARM CLOCK – MELODY –
DELALL (when there are memorised messages) - POWER OFF.
h. Message Signal
• Press ► until ALERT SETTING appears on the display.
• Choose SOUND or SILENT mode with the ●●● button (SOUND: message through bleep, SILENT:
message through vibrating function).
i. Sound
• Press ►until MELODY appears on the display.
• Press ●●●. TONE 1 appears on the display.
