PROPELLER SHAFT HOUSING ASSEMBLY
CHECKING THE DOG CLUTCH

ASSEMBLING THE PROPELLER SHAFT
ASSEMBLY (SHIFT SLIDER TYPE)
1. Install:
• Dog clutch
NOTE:
Install the clutch with "F" mark toward the
forward gear side.
2. Install:
• Cross pin
NOTE:
Compress spring 1 so that it is behind the
cross pin hole in the dog clutch 2, then
install cross pin 3.
ASSEMBLING THE PROPELLER SHAFT
ASSEMBLY (PLUNGER SHIFT TYPE)
1. Install:
• Dog clutch
NOTE:
Install the clutch with "F" mark toward the
forward gear side.
2. Install:
• Cross pin
NOTE:
By pushing the shift plunger 1, bring the
cross pin hole in the dog clutch 2 with the
hole in the shift slider 3, the install the cross
pin 4.
