Installation
4.1
Mechanical installation
DANGER – Incorrect installation of columns
Risk of (fatal) injury due to the vehicle falling
or tipping up during lifting, when working on
the vehicle and on lowering.
¶
Erection is only to be performed by
Bosch customer service or authorized
service agents on the basis of these installa-
tion instructions.
¶
Maintain safety clearances of at least 0.5 m
in front of, behind and to the sides of the
lifting platform.
¶
Pay attention to the specifications of the
connector manufacturer when erecting the
lifting platform. Ensure careful and safe
installation of the lifting platform.
¶
Perform a trial run with the maximum per-
missible vehicle weight.

Installation is only to be performed if all the prere-
quisites are satisfied and the scope of delivery is
complete.

A successful, positive trial drilling must be perfor-
med in the foundation prior to installation (refer to
Section 3).

Make sure the motor and spindle axes are parallel
when erecting the lifting platform.

Check the erection position and the positioning of
the columns.

In addition to the dimensions given below, a safety
clearance of at least 0.5 m must be maintained in
front of and behind the vehicle as well as to the
sides of the lifting platform. The exact positioning of
the columns is to be agreed upon with the user.
