13. Safety Instructions:
All safety and operating instructions should be read and
understood before starting up the Powerline adapter and
must be kept in a safe place for later reference.

Keep the device away from liquids, e.g. water.
Do not use the device in damp environments.
There are no serviceable components in the device.
Only authorised qualifi ed staff may carry out repairs
on it. There is a risk of electric shock!
Use only the enclosed network cable to connect the
device.
Do not insert any objects into the openings on the
Powerline adapter. These slots and openings in the
housing are provided for ventilation purposes and
must not be blocked or covered.
(Danger of overheating.)
Do not expose the Powerline adapter to direct
sunlight.
The Powerline adapters must not be placed in the
immediate vicinity of radiators.
Powerline adapters should be set up and operated
only in locations with suffi cient ventilation.
Disconnect the Powerline adapters from the mains
before cleaning them. Never use thinner, benzene,
alcohol or other aggressive cleaners to clean the
device as they may damage the housing; use only a
cloth dampened with water.
Hama Powerline adapters should only be operated
with the type of power supply network described on
the name plate. If you are not sure what type of power
supply network supplies your home, consult your
electrician or energy provider.
In case of damage, carefully disconnect the
Powerline adapters from the mains, and do not use
the adapters again under any circumstances.
Damage has occurred if any of the following applies:
- Liquid has been spilled on, or objects have found
their way into, the Powerline adapter(s).
- The Powerline adapter(s) has/have been exposed
to rain or water.
- The Powerline adapter's housing is damaged.
- The plug is damaged/bent.
