M AINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
1. Inspecting the driver bit (WH12DAF2)
Using a broken bit or one w ith a w orn out tip is
dangerous because the bit can slip. Replace it.
2. Inspecting the socket (WR12DAF2)
A w orn or deform ed hex. or a square-holed socket
w ill not give an adequate tightness to the fitting
betw een the nut or anvil, consequently resulting in
loss of tightening torque. Pay attention to w ear of a
socket holes periodically, and replace w ith a new one
if needed.
3. Inspecting the mounting screw s
Regularly inspect all m ounting screw s and ensure
that they are properly tightened. Should any of the
screw s be loose, retighten them im m ediately. Failure
to do so m ay result in serious hazard.
4. Cleaning of the outside
When the im pact driver is stained, w ipe w ith a soft
dry cloth or a cloth m oistened w ith soapy w ater. Do
not use chloric solvents, gasoline or paint thinner, as
they m elt plastics.
5. Storage
Store the im pact driver in a place in w hich the
tem perature is less than 40° C, and out of reach of
children.
