Connecting to a television

The device is equipped with a high-defi nition multimedia interface (HDMI). HDMI is a
high-speed digital interface, which transmits both non-compressed and high-defi nition
video signals. Sound, even in multi-channel mode, is also transmitted via the HDMI
output together with the video signals



Connecting to a computer network

LAN connection: local network

Connecting to a LAN computer network (Local Area Network) requires a network cable
(Ethernet cable/twisted-pair cable) Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6.
NOTE
The network cable is not supplied as standard.

WLAN connection: wireless local network


Further information on the wireless setup can be found under "Confi guring network
settings" in the section "Setup menu".

Plug the power supply into the DC IN (
Connect the power supply into a mains socket.
Insert the plug of the HDMI cable into the HDMI socket on the device
Insert the other plug of the HDMI cable into the HDMI socket of the HD television.
Connect the RJ45 plug of the network cable to the LAN interface of the device (
Connect the other end of the network cable to the LAN interface of your router,
network hub or switch.
Switch on the device.
