Transport
The battery is tested in accordance with the
UN Handbook ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.3 Part III, Sub-
section 38.3. It has effective protection against inter-
nal overpressure and short circuiting as well as
measures for prevention against forced rupture and
dangerous reverse current.
The lithium equivalent contents contained in the bat-
tery is below the spelling relevant values. Therefore,
the battery is not subject to the national and interna-
tional regulations governing dangerous goods, nei-
ther as individual components nor when inserted
into a machine. However, the Dangerous Goods
Regulations can be relevant when transporting sev-
eral batteries. In this case, it can be necessary to ob-
serve special conditions (e. g. for packaging). For

Disposal
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Only for EC countries:
Do not dispose of power tools into
household waste!
According to the European Directive
2002/96/EC on waste electrical and
electronic equipment and its incorpo-
ration into national law, products that
are no longer suitable for use must be separately
collected and sent for recovery in an environmen-
tally-friendly manner.
Battery packs/batteries:

Do not dispose of battery packs/
batteries into household waste,
water or fire. Battery packs/bat-
teries must be collected, recycled or disposed of in
an environmentally-friendly way.
Only for EC countries:
Defective or dead batteries must be recycled ac-
cording to the directive 91/157/EEC.
