Notes on correct measurement
Always measure your blood pressure at home and the same time
each day.
You should pass on the values you measure to your doctor for
analysis.
Blood pressure measured at the wrist can vary from that
measured at the upper arm. The values may be slightly different
because of the different measurement positions and the strength
EN
of the blood vessels in the wrist and upper arm. In many cases,
the difference for healthy people can be ±10 mmHg of the systolic
and diastolic blood pressure.
Do not take a measure within 30 minutes of physical activity or a
change in the ambient temperature (e.g. after a bath).
The wrist sleeve should be attached to the left wrist. If it is not
possible to take a measurement on the left wrist, use the right
wrist. In this case, attach the sleeve with the Velcro fastening
facing outwards.
