1. Important Notes
• Children are not permitted to play with the device. Children may not clean the
product or perform user maintenance without supervision.
• This product is not suitable for use as a swimming or buoyancy aid.

Warning – T emperature extremes
• Do not use the product in temperatures below –5°C or above +40°C. Extreme
cold hardens the material, making it brittle and more likely to break, while
extreme heat softens it and may make the sheath permeable.
• Do not expose the sheath and its contents to direct sunlight for long periods of
time. The elevated temperatures caused inside might damage the sheath or its
contents.
• The sheath does not protect its contents from UV radiation.

Note – b efore using for the first time
• Before using it for the first time, make sure the product is undamaged and in
perfect condition.
• Inspect the entire sheath for small holes or other damage.
• Check that the rubber gasket and sealing face are in good condition.

• The case is waterproof at depths of up to 8 m according to IP68.
2. Before first use
• Before using the case for the first time, test the waterproof feature.
• Fill a large container half full with water.
• Hold the empty, closed case under water.
• Watch to see if bubbles emerge on the case.
• If no bubbles are visible, the case is waterproof.
• Dry the case with a soft cloth.

4. Removing the case
Note
• Never press the touchscreen to remove the smartphone from the case. This can
cause damage to the product and impair waterproofness.
• Open the rubber cover at the bottom of the case. (Figure B)
• Open the back cover of the case. (Figure C)
• Carefully remove the smartphone from the case.
3. Putting the case on
• Carefully clean your smartphone with a clean, lint-free cloth. Remove dust and

• Remove the back cover of the case as illustrated. (Figure C)
• Check inside the case to ensure there is no dirt.
• Turn the small wheel at the side of the case clockwise, to avoid blocking the mute
• Place your smartphone – the mute button first – in the case. Then press the device
• Make sure that the seal is firmly fixed in the back cover. (Figure F)
• Replace the back cover on the case. (Figure G) Press carefully until you hear a click
• Now close the rubber cover at the bottom of the case. (Figure H)
• Make sure that everything is tightly closed.
• You can use the small wheel at the side of the case to operate the mute button.

5. Cleaning the case

• Remove the seal of the back cover. (Figure I)
• Carefully clean the back cover and the seal with running water. (Figure J/K)
• After drying, attach the seal to the back cover again. (Figure L)
• Carefully clean the rubber cover with a slightly damp cloth. (Figure M)
