Water spillage tray
Spilt water collects in the water spillage tray.
1. To empty and clean it, remove the strainer.
2. Clean the water spillage tray with a sponge or
absorbent cloth.
3. Refit the strainer.

Water tank

Note
The water tank must be cleaned at regular intervals.
1. Flip up the cover.
2. Pull out the water tank.
3. Open all clamps and remove the cover.
4. Slide the outlet at the bottom out of the guide and
pull it out upwards.
5. Remove the outlet filter.
6. Clean all parts of the water tank with clear water.
7. Insert the outlet filter into the outlet. The pins at the
output filter must face down. Insert the outlet filter
into the outlet.
8. Insert the outlet into the outlet opening and slide at
the bottom into the guide.
9. Put the cover onto the water tank and close all
clamps.
10.Slide the water tank into the guide until you feel
resistance.

Smells

If you notice unpleasant smells:
1. Unplug the appliance from the mains or switch off
the circuit-breaker.
2. Remove all food from the appliance.
3. Clean the inside of the appliance (see section
headed Cleaning the appliance).
4. Clean all packaging.
5. Pack strongly smelling food in air-tight containers to
prevent odours.
6. Switch on the appliance again.
7. Arrange the food.
8. After 24 hours, check again to see if the smells
have reappeared.
